Question of the Day: How Does Your Leadership Development Model Work?

Key Question: What is unique about your training approach?

We would like to take you through our PRIME Performance Model starting with this blog and a few more to follow. Our Model helps you perform certain critical leadership and management functions much better with the added benefit of taking advantage of team dynamics to help develop strong commitment to “getting better”.

You can find a full explanation of our model in our website material but here’s more insight into our unique approach. Over the years we have learned running a business successfully is very systemic. Be consistent in doing the right things! We have identified the best management and leadership practices that support high performance and designed a model to guide and help maintain “best practice performance”.

There are dozens of best practices for a business to consider but our model consists of what we believe to be the top 12 that will guide your company to consistent excellence and success. We call that PRIME performance. The first six best practices, Phase 1, focus on developing the essential foundational PRIME model concepts. Perhaps the secret syrup is the effectiveness of the businesses leadership team to lead and manage the company’s model to accomplish its planned performance. The model provides the specifics to be achieved and the team guides, monitors and motivates. That’s how PRIME performance happens.

Here’s a summary of the 6 best practices in Phase1:

Foundational PRIME Performance Model Concepts

·      Effective Corporate Leadership

·      The Leadership Team

·      High Performance Culture

·      Strategic Planning

·      Change Management

·      Intelligent Relationships

There is flexibility in the application of the best practices and sometimes there may be modifications, always focusing on the best possible outcomes, PRIME Performance.

You ask how long it takes to implement? It all depends on the talent, knowledge, skills and commitment of the team.  You have to make allowances of where the economy may be affecting your business and how well your leadership team teams. It does take time and you need to realize that where you are starting from has a significant impact. One of the greatest challenges in implementing The PRIME Performance Model is determining tolerance and support for change. Great results require great commitment.
